School Leaders is an education-facilities consulting firm serving California's K-14 community. We assist school districts, county offices of education, and community colleges with planning, funding, and delivering facilities. Services span bond program management, facility master planning, needs assessments, fiscal stabilization, strategic planning, superintendent searches, and leadership training. The firm also operates an affiliated CSLB-licensed general contractor, School Leaders Construction Management, providing construction management, lease-leaseback, and CUPCCAA project delivery.
About the Role
Lead fiscal stabilization, multi-year projection and consolidation engagements for school districts and county offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead district fiscal health reviews and multi-year projections
- Develop stabilization and consolidation plans
- Present to boards, county offices and FCMAT as needed
- Mentor consulting analysts
Qualifications
- Former CBO, Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, or FCMAT/county-office fiscal experience
- Deep LCFF and school finance knowledge
- CASBO CBO certification preferred
Compensation & Benefits
$150,000–$190,000 base
Salary range applies to full-time W-2; day-rate available for engagement-based work. Benefits if W-2.
