About the Role
School Leaders is conducting this search on behalf of the Agency. The Antelope Valley Schools Transportation Agency is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and experienced executive to serve as its next Chief Executive Officer. The CEO serves as the chief executive officer of the JPA and reports directly to the Board of Directors, providing strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of the organization's operations while ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services to students throughout the member school districts. The CEO will foster strong relationships with member district superintendents, governing boards, educational partners, employees, parents, and the community while promoting operational excellence, fiscal responsibility, and exceptional customer service, and will understand the importance of serving multiple member districts equitably while building trust through transparent, collaborative decision-making.
Compensation & Benefits
AVSTA Management Confidential Salary Schedule, plus a health and benefits package, 24 days of vacation, and 12 sick days.
