School Leaders is an education-facilities consulting firm serving California's K-14 community. We assist school districts, county offices of education, and community colleges with planning, funding, and delivering facilities. Services span bond program management, facility master planning, needs assessments, fiscal stabilization, strategic planning, superintendent searches, and leadership training. The firm also operates an affiliated CSLB-licensed general contractor, School Leaders Construction Management, providing construction management, lease-leaseback, and CUPCCAA project delivery.
About the Role
Support the Project Manager on active bond-program projects: document control, submittal and RFI logs, meeting minutes, DSA file preparation, pay-application review and site walks. This is the second position every district program requires and the entry point to our project management ladder.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain submittal, RFI, change-order and DSA document logs
- Prepare meeting agendas and minutes for OAC meetings
- Review contractor pay applications and schedules of values
- Assemble DSA closeout files (DSA 152, 6-PI, 6-AE, 6-C)
- Conduct site walks and photo documentation
- Support board report preparation
Qualifications
- 1–4 years in construction, architecture or public facilities
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field
- Bluebeam and Procore or similar
- Strong writing and organization
- CMIT candidacy welcome
Compensation & Benefits
$90,000–$120,000 base
Full benefits. CMIT enrollment supported and paid.
